Your mind, body & soul.

Are you anxious and stressed?

Do you feel like you are always running against the clock or late for something? Has the stress of life made it difficult for you to enjoy your life? Do you feel less joy than you had in the past?  Do you find it difficult to focus, and feel scattered?

Mindfulness tools and practice can help us live our life with greater calm, ease, and balance. We all have the innate human capacity to pay attention to the present moment with an attitude of openness, kindness and receptivity. Mindfulness can help you to recognize how stress affects your physical, emotional and spiritual self, and teach you ways to manage it.

With practice we can develop a non-judgmental awareness of the present moment that helps you respond—rather than react. We learn to pay attention, calm down, and nurture joy, which will lead to a more peace filled life.

Extensive research has shown the practice of mindfulness meditation to be beneficial in conditions such as:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Stress

  • Headaches

  • Chronic pain and illness

  • Insomnia

  • GI distress

  • PTSD

  • Immune disorders

The discovery of mindfulness and working with Marygrace was absolutely life changing. I came to the course in the middle of severe anxiety, and within a couple weeks, had learned tools to ease my mind, live in the present, find space, and most importantly, use my breath to calm me. With a dedicated practice, it felt like overnight my career dreams were falling into place. This course also taught me essential life lessons in acceptance, patience and letting go which are at the foundation of living with ease and happiness. I would recommend the 8-week MBSR course to everyone and Marygrace is such a gifted teacher and healer that walks the walk and deeply wants to help everyone find more joy in their life.

Being a new mom is hard. Being a new mom and struggling with postpartum anxiety and depression is even harder. You want to be the best mom you can be for your new little one- but you’re struggling with these emotions that make you feel like you have no control over your mind. I was one of those moms that struggled with postpartum. However, the help with therapy and the mindfulness that Marygrace has shared with me through four sessions has changed my life. My anxiety and depression got so bad that my blood pressure was starting to raise and I was starting not to feel happiness. Thankfully I found Mary Grace who shared with me a lot of mindfulness techniques that I used throughout my daily life now and it makes me the best mom I can be. I am so thankful for her for sessions that helped me get better so I can love my new little one even more. I would recommend Marygrace over and over again, especially to new moms! You are not alone 💜.

Several months ago I was referred to Marygrace. My son died tragically and I was challenged with a broken heart and the ensuing grief. His death also brought forth long standing anxiety which was complicating my ability to cope with his loss.

From the very first session, Marygrace made me feel welcomed and valued. I am a beginner in the practice of mindfulness. As a skilled and experienced teacher, Marygrace senses the right balance in our sessions between didactic information about mindfulness and having discussion about how the mindfulness principles and tools are applicable to my daily life.

What I have learned so far has been most helpful in giving me strategies to deal with my grief, anxiety and virtually any other life challenge. The practice of mindfulness retrains the brain; replacing my negative thoughts and behaviors with increased gratitude and awareness of the pleasant and positive experiences that happen almost hourly.

Working with Marygrace requires a commitment to work hard on behalf of oneself. It is not a passive experience. As with almost anything in life, what I have put into it, I have received back.

Most of all, I have found healing in my relationship with Marygrace. She truly “walks the talk” and has always made me feel valued and worthy. Her positive, kind and compassionate demeanor has been her greatest gift. Her great sense of humor lifts my spirits time and again and reminds me that it’s “ok” to be human.

I could not have been given a more skilled Sherpa to help me navigate the rugged terrain of my life these past few months.
